Carlos Quintela
Director
Carlos M. Quintela (Havana, 1984) studied at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA, FAMCA) in Havana and at the San Antonio de los Baños International Film and Television School. He has written and directed several short films, winners of awards at numerous festivals. His debut feature, La piscina (The Swimming Pool, 2011), premiered in the Panorama section of the Berlinale, going on to compete in and receive awards at several festivals. La obra del siglo (The Project of the Century) is his second film.
