Carlos Lechuga
Director
Born in Havana. Studied at Superior Institute of Arts and at the International Film School in San Antonio de los Baños. Melaza, his 1st feature as a writer-director, premiered in Rotterdam and won several awards along its festival tour. Santa y Andrés his 2nd feature, premiered at Toronto and San Sebastián and won, among others, the Best Ibero-American Film Award at the Guadalajara Film Festival.
